Organised in conjunction with English Heritage and The Western Heights Preservation Society, we will be involved in this brand new event. If it is deemed successful, it is hoped it will become an annual event. The flying field is the old Dover Council Sports Field on Citadel Road the postcode is CT17 9DP. If you use What3words basics.elevator.animate will get you to the entrance of the field. There is free parking on site. There will be food available on site, or at the Citadel cafe just up the hill. There will also be master Afghan kite flyers at the event to demonstrate their skills and explain their kite heritage.
